Hello out there--this is going to be short and sweet because I'm running around like a crazy woman trying to pack up for the Midwest Literary Festival.  It's quite an impressive line up of authors, including Sean Chercover, Jacquelyn Mitchard, Martin Cruz Smith, Gina Frangello, Karen Abbott, Megan McCafferty, Chef Rocco and those girls who wrote The Nanny Diaries and on and on the list goes.

But really the one person I'm most excited about is Jackie Mason! He'll be there promoting his new book, Schmucks! Schmucks! How can you not love that!!  I realize I'm dating myself here, but I remember seeing Jackie Mason at the Fountainebleau  in Miami Beach when I was about twelve. And yeah, you may question what a twelve year old was doing at the Fountainebleau listening to Jackie Mason but ah, if you've read Every Crooked Pot, then it'll all make sense!
